WaterSong Woods Cabins
are in secluded areas on 75-acres of woodland in Hocking County, about
seven miles north of Logan, in the southeastern part of Ohio. The state-wide hiking trail, the Buckeye Trail, runs in front of the cabins.
Visitors have convenient
access to the Hocking Hills State Park which includes Ash Cave and Old
Man's Cave, the Wayne National Forest, zip lines, canoeing and many other attractions.
The parks offer opportunities
for hikers and for horseback riders.
To get to WaterSong
Woods Cabins:
We are about 55 miles
southeast of Columbus, OH, off St. Rt. 33.
After you are registered as a guest, we will provide you with directions.
The cabins are easily
accessible by car.

Each cabin offers:

- Harmony cabin HAS A HOT TUB on a roofed deck attached to the cabin
- Melody cabin has NO HOT TUB, but does offer a roofed deck, attached to the cabin, with patio furniture. A creek with a small waterfall can be seen/heard from the deck (seasonal).
In addition, Melody
offers handicapped access which includes:
- wheelchair accessible
bathroom/shower stall with pulldown seating and grab bars for both shower and toilet area
- wide doorways
- level entry for
van unloading
- easy-to-use doorknobs
Local telephone calls are
free. Please have a calling card available for long-distance calls. Some cell phones do not have good service in our hilly area.

Policies, Rates
and Checkout
Each reservation requires
a deposit by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover). On receiving a reservation request we will bill the full amount to your credit card. Or, if you prefer, we can bill one-half the total with the
balance due on arrival, but you must tell us that is your preference. You may use the secure form on this website or call 1-877-966-3788 to make your reservation.
The online booking company we use charges a 6% service fee that will be charged to your credit card at the time of booking. This is in addition to the 6% lodging tax required by Hocking County.
The booking fee will be reduced to 2% if you choose to make your reservation by telephone (1-877-966-3788) instead of using the online service. The 2% fee is charged by the booking company to allow manual entry of bookings into the calendar so that cabin availability is correctly displayed.
The person responsible for the reservation must be at least 21 years old.
No refunds 14 days
or less before arrival date unless the cabin is re-rented for the same time period. There is a $35 fee if cancellation more than
14 days before arrival.
No refunds for events beyond our control, such as weather-related events.
Rates are based
on two-person occupancy. Add $25 for each additional person, per night. Add 6% lodging
tax.
Please note: each cabin has one bed. If booking for more than two people and extra sleeping accommodations are required, guests must provide that (air mattress, sleeping bags, cot, etc.). The Harmony cabin has a small (love-seat style) couch, which can be used by a child or small adult.
Add 6% lodging tax, plus 6% booking service fee if booked online; or 2% service fee if booked by telephone.
Rates for each cabin:
A two-night stay is required for all nights. Some holidays (see below) require a three-night stay.
For the Harmony cabin for two people the total for a two-night stay is $350 plus 6% lodging tax, plus booking service fee of 6% for online bookings, or 2% service fee for telephone bookings. Extra nights can be added for $160 per night, plus fees stated above.
For the Melody cabin for two people the total for a two-night stay is $300 plus 6% lodging tax, plus booking service fee of 6% for online bookings, or 2% service fee for telephone bookings. Extra nights can be added for $140 per night, plus fees stated above.
Holiday Rates - Effective 2023
Holidays have a three-night minimum stay. A three-night holiday stay for the Harmony cabin is a total of $525 for two people. A three-night holiday stay for the Melody cabin is a total of $450 for two people. Add 6% lodging tax, plus booking service fee of 6% for online bookings, or 2% service fee for telephone bookings. Extra nights can be added -- call for price.
We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
Check in time: after
3 p.m., unless other arrangements made. We offer self-check in for your
convenience. Checkout time is 11
a.m.

Rental
Agreement
Guests are liable for damage, loss, moving furniture
or excessive cleanup, including for the hottub.

Smoking
and Pet Policy
Smoking is permitted
outside on the decks only. No smoking is allowed inside the cabins or
on the wooded trails. A charge of $250 will be added to the bill if any smoke is detected indoors or if cigarette butts are found on the grounds.
We regret we are
not accepting house pets at this time. Service dogs are accepted.
